I was disappointed with Chernobyl Diaries. With Fight Club in the credentials of the director I expected a "smarter" or "more clever" movie. It was basically a chase/gore type of movie. When the characters were killed off I really didn't care because I was not invested in them. The most 3 dimensional character was Uri, the tour guide.
It did make me jump a few times. I'll give it that. And, the location shots were interesting. I recommend renting this movie from Redbox when it becomes available. I'm so glad I saw it free!
