Alex Cross was just a standard cop movie, nothing special. It was good to see Tyler Perry out of a dress and doing a movie he didn't write,but his acting was not up to par. The other actors did the best with what was given to them provided the cheesy dialogue. There were special effects used that seemed to be from a an iMovie package. I truly expected a lot more from a prequel to Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. This movie was an epic fail! definitely Redbox this one and don't forget to return it one time. Or... if you have Netflix, wait until you can add this one to your queue.
